The Shift Formation Certification gives your students a six-month journey that is personally curated, advisor-guided, and deeply intimate — producing real artifacts they carry into their future ministries, organizations, and lives. Every participant is assigned a personal lead facilitator and a spiritual advisor who walk their entire journey with them — not a module, not a cohort check-in, but the whole six months. This is formation that knows your name.

Cohorts are kept intentionally small. Participants are known, not managed. The relational depth of a Shift cohort is not a feature of the program — it's the program.

Over six months, participants produce 16 personal formation artifacts — real tools, frameworks, and documents they take with them into their future organizations, ministries, and lives. Here are a few examples.

A written account of the participant's formation story — not a resume, but a theological and personal reckoning with who they are, what shaped them, and what they are becoming.
Motivation Audit
A deeply honest examination of why they want what they want — separating calling from ego, pressure from conviction, and ambition from assignment.

A personal analysis of how the participant currently holds and exercises power — and how that must change in the organizations they will build or lead.
Theory of Change
A rigorous, written framework for how the participant believes change happens in their sector — grounded in their formation, not just their strategy.
