Shift the Future, Inc. ("Shift," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or engage with our programs and communications.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 41-2939229) headquartered in Denver, Colorado. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — period.

Information We Collect

We collect information only when you choose to provide it to us. This includes:

• •Newsletter Signups & Waitlist: Name and email address when you subscribe to the Shift Newsletter or join our program waitlist.
• •Contact Forms: Name, email, organization, subject, and message when you reach out through our Contact page.
• •Program Inquiries: Name and email when you request program details or express interest in the Shift Formation Certification.
• •Donations: Payment and contact information collected directly by Zeffy (our donation platform). We do not store payment card information. Please review Zeffy's Privacy Policy for details.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• •Send you the newsletter, updates, or program information you requested
• •Respond to your inquiries and contact form submissions
• •Notify you of program updates, launch dates, and cohort openings you've expressed interest in
• •Send donor impact updates to founding supporters (if you've donated)

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what you've asked us for.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our site and communications:

• •Resend: Used to deliver transactional emails (welcome emails, form confirmations). Your email address is transmitted to Resend only to send you the message you requested.
• •Zeffy: Our donation platform. When you donate, you interact with Zeffy's platform directly. We receive basic donor contact information to send impact updates.
• •Base44: Our website and application platform, which stores form submission data securely.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracking tools.

Data Retention

We retain your contact information for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications or as required to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• •Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• •Request deletion of your personal information from our records
• •Correct inaccurate information we hold about you

Our programs and website are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
